Thank you again to all the parents and students that attended our ECOSchool Parent Information Night. For those of you that were unable to attend, Michelle Halter and I will be reaching out to you over the next little while to go over all of the crucial information so we can get you to sign off on the parent meeting.

 We will be going to Camp Chief Hector from Monday March 30th to Thursday April 2nd. 

 Here is a variety of resources to give you more information on this amazing program that every child in our classroom will be attending! 

 As mentioned in the meeting, if there are any concerns regarding any reason why your child may not be able to go, please reach out to Mrs. Lindsay Kawohl and Ms. Michelle Halter so we can support you with these concerns.

Orange Shirt Day will be recognized by Cambrian Heights School on Thursday October 3, 2019 Students that are interested can wear orange to show that Every Child Matters. Sept 26 Blog Hello Families!  OUTDOOR SCHOOL PARENT MEETING - Wednesday October 9th 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the Gym         Here are the highlights of what our curricular focuses were this week. Science Students continued on their journey of exploring why wetlands are so important. Students collaborated in their groups and came up with questions they were still wondering about the wetlands after all the research we have done so far. Students then engaged in self-guided research and took jot notes to answer their wonders. These wonders will be included in their multi-media presentation at the end of this unit! Language Arts In Language Arts this week, we looked at the elements of a story. We used a graphic organizer to brainstorm ideas for a story we would like to write. Dear Grade 5/6 Families,  We miss seeing our students and families already! We realize you likely have many questions since classes have been cancelled indefinitely. We will be communicating further information to you as soon as we are able, especially in terms of when and how to collect belongings from school.
