REMINDERS
Grade 5/6 Learning Assembly is on Wednesday December 4th at 9:00 am for about 45 minutes. We invite all families and friends to watch!

Parent Teacher Conferences:  Please book a conference time with your child’s “base camp” (homeroom) teacher. If you are not sure who this is, please let us know by contacting Lindsay Kawohl at likawohl@cbe.ab.ca or Michelle Halter at mjhalter@cbe.ab.ca or Parminder Kandola at pskandola@cbe.ab.ca

Please note the availabilities below:

  • Mrs. Kawohl and Ms. Halter will be available for conference times on Thursday, December 5 between 3:00 and 8:00, and Friday December 6 between 8:00 and 1:00.
  • Mr. Kandola is available for conference times Thursday, December 5, between 3:00 and 8:00.

If you are in Mr. Kandola’s “base camp” group, and cannot attend on Thursday evening, either Mrs. Kawohl or Ms. Halter would be able to meet with you on Friday, December 5, between 8:00 and 1:00. Mr. Kandola would also be happy to meet at another time before or after school the following week, if you would prefer.

Orange Shirt Day will be recognized by Cambrian Heights School on Thursday October 3, 2019 Students that are interested can wear orange to show that Every Child Matters. Orange Shirt Day recognizes the harm the residential school system did to children’s sense of self-esteem and wellbeing, and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters. Good afternoon Grade 5/6 students and families! A Message from Mr. Kandola and Ms. Halter: 'Hope you are taking your social distancing seriously like we are.  We know this is a difficult time for everyone but if we stick together, 1-meter apart, we will get through this hard time and persevere! Please continue to check our blog for any updates on how CBE and Cambrian Heights School is moving forward. For now, enjoy your spring break, try to get outside, and stay active!'
