Students have been exploring the dimensions related to volume through taking on challenges to build different apartment building.




Students were told how many apartments had to make up the building and they had to figure out how high, long and wide the building could be using blocks.

Good afternoon Grade 5/6 students and families! A Message from Mr. Kandola and Ms. Halter: 'Hope you are taking your social distancing seriously like we are.  We know this is a difficult time for everyone but if we stick together, 1-meter apart, we will get through this hard time and persevere! PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING NOTICE REGARDING CONFERENCES AND STUDENT WORK SAMPLES. Dear families, We hope you have received the SchoolMessenger that was sent on Tuesday afternoon regarding conference bookings. The Grade 5/6 team of Mr. Kandola, Ms. Halter, and Mrs. Kawohl are looking forward to meeting with you.   Please book a conference time with your child’s “base camp” (homeroom) teacher. If you are not sure who this is, please let us know! You could email us or call the office. Please note the availabilities below: Mrs. Kawohl and Ms. Halter will be available for conference times on Thursday, December 5 between 3:00 and 8:00, and Friday December 6 between 8:00 and 1:00.
