Problem of the Week

 Here is our Problem of the Week. 
We will be posting a new problem weekly!


Yesterday in Math, students created multiple rectangles/squares using the same area of 24cm^2.
Today, students worked on understanding the relationship between area and perimeter. They did this by finding rectangles/squares that had the same numerical values for area and perimeter.

Good afternoon Grade 5/6 students and families! PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING NOTICE REGARDING CONFERENCES AND STUDENT WORK SAMPLES. Dear families, We hope you have received the SchoolMessenger that was sent on Tuesday afternoon regarding conference bookings. The Grade 5/6 team of Mr. Kandola, Ms. Halter, and Mrs. Kawohl are looking forward to meeting with you.   Please book a conference time with your child’s “base camp” (homeroom) teacher. If you are not sure who this is, please let us know! You could email us or call the office. Please note the availabilities below: Mrs. Kawohl and Ms. Halter will be available for conference times on Thursday, December 5 between 3:00 and 8:00, and Friday December 6 between 8:00 and 1:00.
