Good afternoon Grade 5/6 students and families! A Message from Mr. Kandola and Ms. Halter: 'Hope you are taking your social distancing seriously like we are. We know this is a difficult time for everyone but if we stick together, 1-meter apart, we will get through this hard time and persevere! Please continue to check our blog for any updates on how CBE and Cambrian Heights School is moving forward. For now, enjoy your spring break, try to get outside, and stay active!' Orange Shirt Day

Orange Shirt Day will be recognized by Cambrian Heights School on Thursday October 3, 2019 Students that are interested can wear orange to show that Every Child Matters. Orange Shirt Day recognizes the harm the residential school system did to children’s sense of self-esteem and wellbeing, and as an affirmation of our commitment to ensure that everyone around us matters. Yesterday we looked at the importance of doing a land acknowledgement. We read CBE’s statement of acknowledging the land where we gather.
